Gucci’s spring 1999 collection encompassed much of what the public had come to expect from Tom Ford. There were heavy-duty motorcycle sets interspersed with power tailoring and pastel floral garments, while heavy doses of sex appeal were served by leather and floral speedos. Stand-out pieces included the crystal embroidered trousers and jeans, and red, calf-leather biking sets.

These pants appeared several times on the runway, and feature traditional biker detailing such as reinforced knees, articulated seams, and hem zippers. They additionally include a red and green leather pull tab.
