Tom Ford’s spring 2001 collection was awash with silk fabrics bearing impressionistic prints of floral and tie-dye. One of his most prominent contributions to fashion in the ‘90s was the introduction of sex appeal seen in womenswear into menswear, and this show was certainly an expression of that ethos. The collection opened with a parade of models in undone, torso-exposing kimono tops, silk bomber jackets and luxurious cargos. The latter half took a more sartorial route, with suits featuring the power lapels and sharp tailoring Ford had become known for.

This silk pants fit a range of sizes due to their adjustable waistband. They have a luxurious, wide leg fit, with tassel-tie closure and a quilted hem.
