Junya Watanabe’s spring 2002 collection featured his memorable “poem” garments, which consisted of members of his design team’s personal outlooks on abstract subjects such as morality, love and the human race itself.

Watanabe has frequently collaborated with European and American heritage brands, and his work with Levi’s Denim is among the most fruitful. As seen here, Watanabe would borrow quintessential Levi’s silhouettes and outfit them with his own patterns and detailing.
