For better or worse, SS2020 Tecuatl lacked the esotericism typical of Rick Owens runways. Titled after his grandmother's maiden name, the work was his most “ready-to-wear” collection released in several years, with an array of flight suits serving as the high watermarks. The statement metal chokers, which took forms both abstract and concrete — such as a pentagram — became perhaps the season’s most popular pieces, selling out as soon as they hit stores.

This metallic, chain mail-like alluminum piece leans into the glam-rock side of Rick Owens, which has been throughly explored in his recent collections. It’s cuts long and slender, with a luminescent glow which drifts back and forth across the piece while in motion.
