Junya’s spring 2005 collection explored the realm of hiking and climbing gear, predating today’s trend by over a decade. The show featured utilitarian garments spun with a sense of humor. Models wore cargo shirts with fishing poles strung through them, neon ropes tied around their bodies with carabiners attached, and more.

These jeans were a standout piece of the collection - they were produced in collaboration with Porter, a Japanese luggage line which dates back to the ‘60s. They feature many of the details that defined the collaboration, including numerous cargo pockets, two triplets of D-rings, and an attachable bum bag.
