Rick Owen’s most iconic shoe. As the famous tale goes, it’s lifespan cut short by a cease-and-desist letter from Nike. However, there’s a fair amount of reasons to question the story, as Owens has never produced the letter, and Nike has never acknowledged such an action.

Whether the publicly accepted story is true or not, Owens did discontinue the shoe rather early into its genesis, making it perhaps the most coveted designer shoe of all time.
