Blackmeans' leather artisans meld traditional Japanese craftsmanship with rock ‘n’ roll and crust punk influences. Their collections are full of rider jackets, biker jeans, destroyed denim, and other staples influenced by the London punks of yesteryear and America's biker gangs. What sets them apart from so many other labels which channel the same ethos is their hand-done craftsmanship. Each piece is meticulous in its production and made in very limited quantities.

This jacket comes from a collaboration with the Japanese streetwear label Sasquatchfabrix. It employs two traditional Japanese techniques, boro and sashiko stitching. The silhouette skews away from a more traditional heritage silhouette, though, and is cut cropped and slender, with a spread collar, slash pockets, and waist fastening.
