Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring 1998 show referenced iconoclasts of the past and present, focusing on Marilyn Manson and Frida Khalo. The latter received visceral tribute throughout the show, with numerous models sporting unibrows and crying tears of faux blood.

Some of Gaultier’s finest jewelry was released within his spring 1998 collection. As can be seen here, it was all rather impressionistic, and utilized enamel as the main form of embellishment. These earrings round of a triplet of jewelry from this collection which pair together. Like most Gaultier earrings, they are screw-ins and do not require one to pierce their ears.
