Yohji’s fall 2012 show contained some of his most traditional tailoring, yet the outerwear heavy presentation was still abound with unique, avant-garde details. Coats featured double-lapels, mismatched waistcoats, and were adorned with asymmetric rows of gold buttons. Some of the best pieces were crafted out of a blanket-like fabric, which eventually gave way to full-fledged blankets wrapping up the final few models.

This tongue-in-cheek sweater is crafted from a blend of wool, nylon, and alpaca, and features the “Y.Y” initials which graced many of the season’s pieces.
